DOG BOARDING
Sleep soundly knowing your dog is too! You are a responsible dog owner and you want someone you can trust, as well as a clean and comfortable environment for your dog whether it be for a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks. Whether you are on a vacation, on a business trip or just a well deserved weekend away, we will keep your dog physically and mentally stimulated during their stay. At Montreal Dogs, our monitors will walk them and play with them. We will make sure their accommodations are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Through plenty of toys, music, televisions and attention from staff, we will keep them from missing you! So don’t get upset if they don’t.

We concentrate on quality rather than quantity.  Our dog boarding area consists of large spacious kennels placed in  climate-controlled rooms. 

As a boarder, your dog will be walked at least three times a day having quality individual playtime with a staff member. We provide the dogs with plenty of fresh water, comfortable bedding and lots of toys to keep them busy. They will be fed according to their own individual feeding routines with snacks in between if need-be. Please remember to bring their regular food and have it all clearly labeled along with any medication if necessary. Rest assured our certified animal health nurse can safely administer any prescribed medications or special needs your dog(s) may require during their stay. In addition
to our boarding policy we provide 24 hour on premises monitoring as well as emergency veterinary care.

There is availability of additional services for dogs that are not approved for the doggie daycare program. Throughout the boarding stay, owners have the option of individual playtime sessions scheduled hourly throughout the day with a staff member held in a quiet, safe and secluded area of the facility. If the dogs are not sociable. not neutered or are elderly, this is a great alternative and a great addition to the boarding experience. 

We know our caring staff will not disappoint you as they spend individual time entertaining your pet.  The little ones can curl up on our sofas, the retrievers can play fetch, and the senior citizens can enjoy a nice rubdown. Ultimately, one thing is for sure we will remember them all by name!

As our boarding spaces are limited, we require a reservation in advance for any dog planning to stay with us. Again, all dogs must be in good physical health and owners need to certify and provide us with written proof of up-to-date vaccination records. 

Due to the overwhelming popularity during certain holiday seasons, please be notified that we have a first come first served policy for all our clients.   However, we do reserve the right to accommodate our regular daycare dogs as well as our regular boarders to board with us during our busy holiday season. The reasons for this are simply because our regular canine clientele has been subjected to our daily routines, our staff, and being surrounded by so many other dogs at the same time. Dogs which have been here in boarding routinely tend to adapt much easier when our kennel is full as opposed to a new first time boarder. This process is simply in the best interest of the dogs.  We welcome all our clients, regulars or new, to call well in advance for reservations in order to diminish the possibility of no vacancy, but to also be aware of the possibility of being placed on our waiting list in the event of any cancellations.

During this busy period, we require a credit card number to reserve the actual dates of boarding.  Any cancellations not made within (72) hours of the pre-scheduled dates will result in a charge of 20% of the total amount.  We reserve this right in order to help accommodate as many clients as possible and not to be left with vacancies at the last minute, knowing that we could have helped alleviate any stress for someone else by accepting to board their dog.

CAT BOARDING

Our many years of experience in the pet caring industry has led us at Montreal Dogs to expand our boarding service. Our new cat boarding facility, built with your cats’ needs in mind, is situated in a separate and quieter area of the premises.

We know cats are sedentary independent animals that enjoy the protected feeling of comfort while outside their home. Therefore, the very best place for your cat to stay when you are away should be a place fully equipped with all the amenities to make your cat relaxed, comfortable, and feel right at home.

All cats must have up-to-date vaccination records and owners must certify that they’re cat is in good physical health. We require written proof of FVPRCP.

Our cat boarding area is open for visits. We do not require an appointment for people just wanting to visit the premises so feel free to come by to visit during our opening hours. Our spaces are limited, we give every feline individualized care and spaces, so please make certain to call in advance to reserve a space.
