Sleep soundly knowing your dog is too! You are a responsible dog owner and you want someone you can trust, as well as a clean and comfortable environment for your dog whether it be for a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks. Whether you are on a vacation, on a business trip or just a well deserved weekend away, we will keep your dog physically and mentally stimulated during their stay. At Montreal Dogs, our monitors will walk them and play with them. We will make sure their accommodations are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Through plenty of toys, music, televisions and attention from staff, we will keep them from missing you! So don't get upset if they don't.

As a boarder, your dog will be walked at least three times a day having quality individual playtime with a staff member. We provide the dogs with plenty of fresh water, comfortable bedding and lots of toys to keep them busy. They will be fed according to their own individual feeding routines with snacks in between if need-be. Please remember to bring their regular food and have it all clearly labeled along with any medication if necessary. Rest assured our certified animal health nurse can safely administer any prescribed medications or special needs your dog(s) may require during their stay. In addition to our boarding policy we provide 24 hour on premises monitoring as well as emergency veterinary care.

Throughout the boarding stay, owners have the option of individual playtime sessions scheduled hourly throughout the day with a staff member held in a quiet, safe and secluded area of the facility, if the dogs are not sociable, not neutered or are elderly.

Due to the overwhelming popularity during certain holiday seasons, please be notified that we have a first come first served policy for all our clients.   However, we do reserve the right to accommodate our regular daycare dogs as well as our regular boarders to board with us during our busy holiday season. We welcome all our clients, regulars or new, to call well in advance for reservations in order to diminish the possibility of no vacancy, but to also be aware of the possibility of being placed on our waiting list in the event of any cancellations.

During this busy period, we require a credit card number to reserve the actual dates of boarding.  Any cancellations not made within (72) hours of the pre-scheduled dates will result in a charge of 20% of the total amount. 

Our many years of experience in the pet caring industry has led us at Montreal Dogs to expand our boarding service. Our new cat boarding facility, built with your cats' needs in mind, is situated in a separate and quieter area of the premises.

We have the availability to house cats in comfortable and cozy condos or more elaborate accommodations consisting of bright window side villas. With individual playtime while they board, your cat is getting the ultimate in care. Special diets will be fed with treats and brushings if required. Because we know cats can be territorial, feel free to bring whatever belonging your cat is attached to while he boards.

All cats must have up-to-date vaccination records and owners must certify that they're cat is in good physical health. We require written proof of FVPRCP.

Our cat boarding area is open for visits. We do not require an appointment for people just wanting to visit the premises so feel free to come by to visit during our opening hours. Our spaces are limited, we give every feline individualized care and spaces, so please make certain to call in advance to reserve a space.


 

Canine trouble?

We thought it was time somebody listened… It is a well-known fact that boredom and lack of exercise can cause many behavioral and medical problems in dogs. Doggie Daycare has proven to be a great alternative for thousands of dogs that spend their days in solitary confinement at home while their owners go to work. At Montreal Dogs, you can count on our highly qualified staff to make sure that the dogs get their needed daily exercise. We offer the largest indoor/outdoor play area under a specially designed climate controlled setting. We run our daycare program seven days a week, twelve hours a day and everyday is filled with constant stimulation in a nurturing and safe environment.

We reserve the right to separate the dogs by their size and their temperament. We enjoy two distinctly different daycare areas.

At Montreal Dogs, we DO NOT use any type of tranquilizer or other medication to avoid the aggression. We do not believe in doing so since we are aware of the side effects that these tranquilizers may have especially when used often.  We are professionally trained to deal with any type of behaviour and we do so by handling them with patience and care. The outcome is much more efficient and pleasant.

We meet different breeds of dogs, as well as different types of coats. We have seen the best conditions as well as the worst. Our primary concern is for the dog. With this in mind, our professional grooming facilities offer a safe and comfortable environment for your dog or cat to have a happy experience. We will accommodate all your pet's needs, such as a gentle wash for sensitive skin, a particular cut, or simply a beautiful manicure using our grinding system which not only shortens the nails but also files them for a smoother finish. We will be more than happy to answer all of your questions in order to make the grooming process a good experience for everyone.
